Ingredients

  • 1/2 T Apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c Milk
  • 1 c Flour
  • 1/2 t Baking powder
  • 1/2 t Salt
  • 1/2 c Cheese
  • 1 Brown onions
  • 2 cl Garlic

Modified damper recipe with some nice add-ins. The main difference is to cover when baking, otherwise the onion burns.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200 C.
  2. Dice 1 onion and 2 cl garlic.
  3. Fry onion and garlic.
  4. In a jug, mix 1/2 T vinegar with 1/2 c milk.
  5. In a bowl, mix 1 c flour, 1/2 t baking powder, 1/2 t salt.
  6. Add milk to bowl and mix.
  7. Add 1/2 c cheese, onion, garlic.
  8. Knead gently in bowl.
  9. Bake foil-covered for 25 minutes. Bake uncovered for 10 minutes.
